Dr. Timnit Gebru and The Future of AI

Renowned computer scientist and AI ethicist Timnit Gebru will join the Data Science for All community for a discussion on the future of AI.

Timnit formerly co-led the Ethical AI research team at Google and is a co-founder of Black in AI, a non-profit supporting Black researchers and practitioners in artificial intelligence. She seeks both to increase diversity in the field of AI and to reduce the negative impacts of racial bias in training data used for human-centric machine learning models.

Timnit will answer live questions from the Data Science for All community, a collection of thousands of aspiring data professionals who identify as Women, Black, Latinx, and/or LGBTQ+.
