On June 11th, our Co-CEO and Co-Founder, Rasheed Sabar, was one of four featured panelists at Korn Ferry's AI Summit which took place here in New York City. The event was organized by Korn Ferry, a global organizational consulting firm.

AI Summit panelists included:

Emily Chien – Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive, Advanced Analytics Leader – IBM Services

Nitzan Mekel-Bobrov– Managing Vice President of Machine Learning & AI –Capital One

Josh Bissu – Head of Data Science & Trading – King Street Capital

Rasheed Sabar – Co-Founder & Co-CEO – Correlation One

The conversation around AI was insightful and very thought-provoking. The panel was moderated by Korn Ferry's Deepali Vyas, the firm's Global Co-Head of FinTech and Global Financial Markets; and Melissa Swift, the firm's Digital Advisory Leader.

The talk kicked off with a video about our AI-programming game, Terminal. Organizations looking for top talent have used Terminal competitions to intellectually engage top data science and engineering talent at some of the world's best universities. At Terminal Live events, elite data scientists and software engineers compete against one another for cash prizes and opportunities to interview with amazing organizations like $30B hedge fund, Citadel.

Here's what our Co-CEO and Co-Founder, Rasheed Sabar, had to say about Terminal:

"You have to meet the talent where it is, using novel engagement strategies to capture the attention and imagination of the hard-to-access data & AI talent market. Our games-based recruiting platform, Terminal, uses the power of programmable games to draw in data talent, all the while enhancing the employer's talent brand in the eyes of candidates. It is much more effective than traditional career fairs, job posts, and interviews."

The panel discussion's four main panel topics included:

  • 'Hiring the right AI talent'
  • 'Winning talent is difficult, but so is retaining it'
  • 'Upskilling the whole organization is critical'
  • 'Integrating AI is challenging, but worth it'
