Why not send our executives to a business-school AI program?
Business-school programs teach from academic literature and published case studies — a record of how AI was implemented years ago, elsewhere. They build vocabulary; they rarely build capability. Executive capability comes from hands-on work with current tools on your own workflows, taught by practitioners who implement inside enterprises every week and update content as the models ship. The two can coexist — but if the goal is an AI-capable leadership team that funds the right initiatives this quarter, the practitioner format is the one that produces it.
We already have a strategy consultancy advising on AI. Why add this?
The two are complementary — and the gap between them is exactly where AI transformations stall. Consultancies operate at portfolio altitude: operating-model roadmaps, vendor selection, governance frameworks. What they don't build is hands-on capability in the leadership team itself — and a roadmap handed to executives who have never personally worked in the tools produces pilot theater. This program operates in the weeds the roadmap assumes away: leaders using the tools on their own workflows, ranking real automation opportunities function by function, and leaving with both the pipeline and the fluency to govern its execution. Many of our engagements run alongside an active consulting relationship; ours is the layer that makes the roadmap executable.
What actually happens in an executive AI session?
Three movements: personal fluency (each leader experiences their own day, AI-augmented, hands-on), opportunity identification (a structured pass over each function's workflows to rank where AI creates leverage), and commitment (ideation — often a pitch competition — that ends with a prioritized pipeline and named owners). Sessions run from a half day to multiple days, in person or hybrid, for groups from a dozen C-suite members to nearly 200 senior leaders.
Will senior executives really go hands-on?
Yes — it is the most consistent surprise in our delivery experience. When the material is their own work rather than generic exercises, engagement is immediate: leaders leave sessions using the tools on real decisions the same evening. Hands-on executive fluency is also the single strongest adoption multiplier we measure, because organizations adopt hierarchically — teams mirror what their leaders visibly do.
How is the session tailored to our company?
Through structured pre-session interviews with your CEO and senior team, plus an organizational AI maturity baseline. The interviews surface each function's real workflows, constraints, and strategic priorities; the session is then designed from that material. No two leadership sessions run the same content.
What happens after the session so it isn't a one-off?
Three mechanisms: a 10-hour executive master class for continued personal fluency; Impact Labs where teams build the workflows leadership prioritized; and direct handoff of the ranked pipeline into role-based 201 and agent-building programs.
